Sports venues of Sichuan University are distributed in three campuses:

 WangJiang campus has one multi-functional gymnasium (including one main gymnasium), which is mainly used to host large-scale sports events, large gatherings and recreational activities in and around the university. There are 3 auxiliary halls (indoor table tennis hall, indoor badminton hall and fitness center), 2 track and field courts, more than 15 basketball courts, 3 standard football fields (including 1 natural turf), 7 small football fields, 10 outdoor tennis courts (including 7 red clay courts), more than 10 outdoor badminton courts, 3 outdoor volleyball courts, 60 outdoor table tennis tables, 2 gate courts and 4 outdoor swimming pools (including 1 children's pool). 

HuaXi campus has 1 gymnasium (with 6 badminton courts), 1 tennis hall (3 pieces of tennis courts), 2 outdoor tennis courts, 1 track field, 2 football fields, 8 outdoor basketball courts (1 piece of natural turf), 1 outdoor volleyball court and 1 outdoor swimming pool. 

JiangAn campus has 1 gymnasium (including 4 teaching and fitness rooms, mainly used for taekwondo, aerobics, platoon dance, artistic gymnastics and other projects teaching), 1 track field, 3 outdoor standard football fields (artificial turf), 21 outdoor basketball courts, 17 outdoor volleyball courts, 10 outdoor tennis courts, 4 indoor tennis courts, more than 60 outdoor table tennis tables, 3 outdoor swimming pools. Indoor swim pools and partial sports space renovation project of JiangAn campus are intensifying planning and construction.
